Directly above--it's definitely a Whatsit...early, made of layered hardwood, about the size of a human head--found in an old shed with the Shoulder Yoke above. Donnie seems to remember seeing one way back in Jack Cunningham's time and though it related to a horse somehow, Someone just e-mailed and said maybe it was the mould for a bonnet or jockey headgear....maybe the bonnet, but don't know if jockeys went back that far.....any more suggestions???
